In Class: This Wednesday, students will take the last meteorology quiz and will begin the Astronomy unit.

In class: This week we will finish up our Meteorology study. Students will learn about air masses, fronts, and global winds and local winds. There will be a weather quiz on this material next Tuesday in the computer lab. On Friday, we will kick off the next unit: Space!
Wednesday: Heat Absorption Lab: (4 pages)
Students need to make a double line graph (1 line for water, and 1 line for sand) by plotting the given times and temperatures for sand and water. Use a ruler or straight edge to do this! Answer the questions under the double line graph. Then write your conclusions on your lab sheet. Due Thursday
Study nightly for 15-20 minutes to make sure they are adequately prepared for the quiz on Tuesday.
Amazing how time flies! We are already at the end of 3rd Quarter! We will have a weather test on Thursday. Please check StudentVue/ParentVue for assignments that must be completed by Thursday. Quarter 3 notebooks are due on Thursday. Here is a list of what should be included in the notebook:
