Monday in class:
Students took the Europe Geography quiz today. Students should continue to review geography throughout our study of Europe as it will be tested again on the unit test.
Finish European Vacation project reflection: Students reflect on what they learned while completing the European Vacation project. Reflections should include how the physical features of Europe influence their choices of transportation, and how physical features here in the U.S. influence how people get around at home.
Tuesday in class:
Starting today, students will watch CNN Student news whenever possible at the beginning of class. Parents can also watch at home so that you can discuss important issues and compelling stories with your student each day. www.cnn.com/studentnews/
This week, students are learning about environmental issues in Europe. Students will make a flow map that shows causes and effects of air pollution in Europe, to be finished for homework.

Students complete a flow map that shows the causes and effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine. Students select a performance task (project) from the choice board to complete in class and for homework. The project is due no later than Monday.
