Many students are coming to class prepared and ready to learn. Many other students are coming to class without the required materials. At the very minimum, students should have pencils (a few extra in case a point gets broken), a folder/notebook, and his/her agenda that each teacher requires. Student's bathroom pass and REP stamps are kept in the agenda. Please make sure your student has the necessary supplies for class. Students who are consistently without the required materials will be assigned to detention. Thank you for your help.
Students will wrap up their study of Latin American Geography this week. They will learn about oil-related pollution in Venezuela, similarities and differences between Venezuela and Mexico, as well as the culture of Latin America. Students will be tested next Tuesday, and so should study 30 minutes each night in preparation for the test.

The Brazil and Cuba Quizzes at the end of the Nearpod leassons were due today, and grades for these are posted in the gradebook. Student who have not completed this assignment may finish this week for partial credit. Please refer to last week's post for link and codes.
