In class: Students will continue working on their DBQ essays Monday and Tuesday. Students who are not finished by the end of the class Tuesday will most likely need to complete the essay at home. We will review Intra-War events later this week, including the rise of Nazism and the Great Depression. If time permits, we will begin a brief study of post World War II events including the Cold War.
Homework: Intra-War years packet if not completed in class; DBQ essay if not completed in class.
In class: This week, students will continue work on their DBQ (Data-based Question), "How did the Treaty of Versailles help to cause World War II?" Students are analyzing various documents to answer this question. They will present their research in a 5 paragraph essay which they will begin writing later this week.
The grading period ends on Thursday. Several students need to complete the "Read and Respond: Intra-War Years" to turn in on Wednesday so that it can be included in their class average. You can view it here.
Homework: Make up Read and Respond or Guest speaker recovery assignment.
